Yes very exciting to see that the CCC has come through today.

We had forwarded it on to Ranjana as soon as it came through and she had confirmed that she sent it off to the bank. We‘re hoping to still be able to have handover tomorrow, depending on when the bank releases the money, but we’ll let you know as soon as we’ve made payment from our end.

We are really happy with the house, you guys have done an outstanding job. We have been really impressed with the workmanship at each stage and the high standard to which the work has been completed. We really appreciate how you worked with us at the start, not only your patience while we arranged finance, but also for going above and beyond with our must have‘s list, we are so grateful.

We absolutely will love our new house and hope to be able to work with you again in the future.

When I came for colour and kitchen selection Therese looked after me very well. Therese made it easy for me to choose everything rather than making it more complicated. It was a personalized experience - like she is choosing for her own house.

She showed all the available options, and again to make sure that I am happy with my selection.  Joanne has been super patient - with me being very choosy and asking her a lot of questions. Would definitely recommend you guys.

We are all moved in and have spent our first two nights in our new Hawkins Home.

Nikki and I want to give a big thank you to the Hawkins Homes team for building our brand new first home.

From when we first enquired about building with Hawkins Homes in October/November 2020 until moving in to our New Home in March 2022 the process has been made really easy by all of your team. Whether it be answering all of our questions, sorting out the colouring of the bricks or helping us sort our front fence nothing has been any trouble.

We love our new house and are so wrapped with the final product.

Well it was certainly a long haul for Kellie and Steven Carson’s  build thanks to our friend Covid.

I just wanted to thank you personally for your very professional dealings with my clients.  I also wanted to thank you for your professional ethics which few other companies out there seemed to have shown.

Unfortunately I had another 3 couples, all in the same situation of Kellie and Steven with delays either through Covid lockdown, or lack of materials and their builders stopped their builds all together and then invoked the sunset clause, wanting to charge between $50-$150K extra for the build.  

So again, many thanks for your professional, ethical and moral dealings. It was so very much appreciated by Kellie and Steven.

I will certainly have no  issues recommending you to people looking to build in the future.

We are enjoying unpacking and settling in.

Our building journey has been a great experience and such a huge learning curve. We are so glad we decided to go with a company we hadn’t really heard of before. Hawkins Homes.

We were greeted by a lovely, down to earth developer who we got a really good vibe off. We didn’t feel like we were just a number and he took the time to explain things through for us on many occasions.  

We had initially looked at another larger, more well known company who we were thinking of going with.We did a 2nd meeting, which wasn’t that good.

We had booked to see Scott the same afternoon, we saw a house/land package on Trade Me they were offering so thought we’d check it out as a comparison while we were in Pokeno the same day. By that evening Scott had sent us all the info we required and we enjoyed looking over it all.

The other company I had to ring a week later to ask what had happened to the info they were going to send, which we found really disappointing. There reply was” owww sorry I have been so busy” !!! So we decided to go with Hawkins Homes and we are so glad we did. As they say the rest is history.

It’s such a huge venture, building your own home and we didn’t understand any of the terminology or processes needed for the journey along the way.

We would highly recommend Hawkins Homes to anyone looking at a new build, they have been Great to communicate with, very professional Team yet down to earth people and high quality all the way. We are proud to be in a Hawkins Home.

Timeline was pretty good, a bit later but within reason, with the number of lockdowns Auckland has had we found that very acceptable.

We are so happy with the quality of our build and love our new home. We thought we would never own our own place and had left it too late, but can now say we are proud home owners at last.
